Interactive Project Manager

A Bay Area advertising and media company is looking for an a Interactive Project Manager who is enthusiastic, a team player, and stays cool under pressure. This is a very visible role driving interactive advertising deliverables for top brands such as Loreal, Microsoft, Proctor and Gamble and others.

The successful candidate will manage and deliver interactive/product projects on time and to stakeholder expectations, and meets the following minimum requirements:
1. Project Management
Manages day-to-day interaction with the account managers/account executives (the client). Sets and manages client expectations. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative creative solutions. Continually seeks opportunities to increase stakeholder satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
⁃ Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day project tasks and
⁃ QA Tests deliverables prepared by the production team before passing to clients.
⁃ Gathers, verifies, and manages feedback and requested changes
⁃ Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

2. Communication
⁃ Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
⁃ Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and delivers daily ETA and weekly status reports.
⁃ Can communicate timelines, capabilities, and issues effectively and tactfully to executives, salespeople, production staff, and support staff.
⁃ Can extract required technical information from non-technical stakeholders.

3. Teamwork
Utilizes each team member for maximum productivity.
Maintains communication and smooth workflow between team members.
Encourages team members to learn and grow as a team.

4. Client Management
Manages day-to-day interaction with the account managers/account executives (the client).
Sets and manages client expectations.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative creative solutions.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase stakeholder satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

5. Technical Understanding
Keeps technical team well informed of the status of production efforts and serves as liaison between production staff and the client.
Must be able to retain direction and grasp skills and concepts necessary to drive company quality standards and consistently present high-quality deliverables to our clients.

Technical Skills
Wiki Markup Web QA tools like Fiddler, Firebug, HTTPWatch, etc.
Common Windows Browser configuration management
Test matrix creation
Requirements documentation
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Versioning system (SVN, git, etc.) experience a plus
Flash IDE experience a plus

TERMS:
This is a long term contract opportunity
This role is only open to local candidates
Start date is WEDNESDAY. Only candidates who can start immediately will be considered.
