Open Position: Web Project Manager

Do you specialize in managing website redesign projects? Are you passionate about the interactive space? Are you looking to make a big impact at a small company?

Summary:


We are looking for a website project manager to manage dynamic projects in the association industry.

Top 5 Must Haves:

- End-to-end website redesign project management experience. Ability to pick up a mid to large web site development project at any point in the project lifecycle and drive it to an on-time, within budget completion.

- Experience creating website project documents like statement of work, project specification, creative brief, site map and wireframe.

- Proven expertise in the Internet industry, including an understanding of CMS, IA, socmed and wireframing.

- Ability to diplomatically manage scope, time and budget with the client in an effective way.

- Desire to make a big impact at a small company.

Responsibilities:


- Plan projects and prepare budget approval presentations
- Implement change control processes and risk/issue identification and mitigation strategies
- Participate in or lead cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects
- Monitor the project from initiation through delivery
- Create, review and approve requirements documentation, project plans, testing plans and business cases
- Identify gaps in current applications or solutions, and recommend and create new solutions to fill these gaps
- Oversee implementation of applicable solution to ensure business needs are met in a timely manner

Qualifications:


- 4-year relevant college degree.

- 2 - 5 years experience managing website development projects.

- Business analyst and client management experience.

- Proven knowledge of project management methodologies. PMP not required, but must show history of PM education background.

- Better than working knowledge of Microsoft Project or QuickBase.

Nice To Haves:


- Experience working with associations.

- History of working effectively in a small company environment.

- Desire to be the driver for PM methodology within the company.
