Interactive Project Manager

My client is looking for an Interactive Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage and track website development projects and other interactive initiatives for their clients. The Project Manager acts as the liaison between their resources, account team and clients. The Project Manager takes a project from initial conception and scoping through to its successful completion, including facilitating and reporting throughout the project and maintaining budget and schedule parameters. 

Responsibilities: 
• Act as lead for mid-to-large sized interactive projects including websites, microsites, apps, landing pages, emails, and other digital initiatives 
• Ultimately responsible for the successful launch of projects 
• May act as main client contact (or support the Account Executive team) 
• Understands and follows the established project development and change management process 
• Creates and manages project plans and is responsible for seeing through task execution. Provides counsel for account management teams in the development of cost estimates and timelines for projects 
• Tracks project path, and escalates potential risks to deadlines, deliveries, and overall budget 
• Acts as communications hub, ensuring that all teams adhere to the established schedule, and that any ramifications are clearly understood. Keeps the project team and client informed of progress and any deviations from timeline or end deliverables 
• Works with resource management and team leads to manage resources for the project, including utilization of team resources, forecasting and budget management. Includes prioritization of tasks and resource negotiation 
• Gathers and assembles documentation to facilitate the creation of detailed and accurate project descriptions, scope of work, estimates, functional and technical specifications, schedules, timelines, written status reports, meeting notes, change request forms, and other documentation throughout the project lifespan 
• Monitors and manages day-to- day technical tasks 
• Facilitates QA process through QA Team 
• Has ability to work with outside vendors to make sure they are working efficiently and effectively to deliver on-time and on or under budget 
• Provides mentorship for Jr Project Managers 
• Is a self starter, with an entrepreneurial drive to execute at the highest level. 
• Is the ultimate problem solver 

Qualifications: 
This position requires a minimum of 2-4 years of project management experience, including: 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
• Experience with HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript and web analytics tools 
• General understanding of Web and Mobile technology as well as best practices in both UX and digital graphic design. Agile methodology experience preferred 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, department and cross-department teams 
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner 
• Exceptional organizational, time and self-management skills 
• Detail oriented, with proven follow-through skills 
• Ability to remain calm and in control under pressure and to calm others under stress
