Interactive Program Manager

Major Financial based client in Dedham, MA is seeking to add one to two new folks to their interactive team. Reporting into the VP of Interactive, this team manages over 300,000+ pages and product development for 2 major websites.

Goal for this team is to get more strategic to sell more efficiently through these sites.
Goal for this role is to maximize touchpoints for clients and figure out how to deliver a great customer experience. Do this by improving navigation of the site to features and functions of the sites. Not tied to the product. How do we serve up the right messaging to get them into the sales funnel for the right product.


DESCRIPTION/DELIVERABLE:
Responsibilities:
This position will own the day-to-day management of web site content and functionality upgrade projects which support monthly advertising campaigns, new product releases, and enterprise-wide web channel upgrades. Candidate should have strong web project management skills. Preferred candidates will have 5-8 years experience in one or more of the following web specialty areas: usability, web analytics (preferably WebTrends), web information architecture, web development, web design, personas, developing user journeys, A/B or multivariate testing, developing web content strategies, mobile development, or online banking product management. Additional responsibilities include participation in pre-project business case development as well as post-project analysis, measurement and optimization recommendations.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Participate in business case development, writing, and delivery as well as ROI-projections for web site projects
• Perform project requirements gathering and definition through consultation with SME’s
• Recommend and validate Information Architecture including site map, page flow, navigation architecture, wire frames, usability studies, analysis and findings
• Perform web analytics and results analysis
• Develop new/improved processes for initiating web projects, managing web projects, web site content audits, and reporting enablement
• Contribute to annual web channel strategy roadmap creation
• Perform competitive analysis
• Collaborate with .Com Operations department to perform development work and post web content
• Collaborate with Interactive/Web Development agency to perform web and business case development
• Manage and prioritize web site update request queue
• Provide creative evaluation and adherence to brand standards/ style guide maintenance
• Diligently follow compliance regulations
SOFTWARE:
Technical Requirements:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Above-average web knowledge/skills. Experience with e-marketing tactics and tools.

Additionally Desirable Technical Knowledge:
• WebTrends web analytics
• Interwoven
• Visio
• Dreamweaver
• MS Project
• Familiarization with web technology

Qualifications
• 5-8 years experience in one or more of the following web specialty areas: usability, web analytics (preferably WebTrends), web information architecture, web development, web design, personas, developing user journeys, A/B or multivariate testing, developing web content strategies, personalization, mobile development, or online banking product management.
Additional Skill Requirements:
• Burning desire to staying abreast of web and online trends, knowledge of social media landscape, ability to provide insight into competitive landscape and market shift toward increased web investments
• Meticulously detail oriented
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment, manage multiple projects at same level of detail
• Organized, controlled, engaged, polished meeting management
• Persistent follow-through in project management
• Expandable capacity / excellent time management skills / ability to multi-task in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Drive to show results that prove ROI to achieve greater funding


Personality Type: not aggressive but confident in their knowledge and be able to push back on either the business line or the agency. Must be proactive (i.e.- we did an audit of the site and found…etc) and be able to execute flawlessly from a project management perspective.

Candidate will work with the Product team and the ad agency who is managing the project. Serves as somewhat of a moderator between the business line and the agency (i.e.- be able to say to the agency, “this estimate is too much” and say to the line “here’s why the project is $200k over the projected budget”).
