Our client, a hospital in Boston, is seeking a dynamic digital producer with a passion for mission-based work. The Interactive Producer will be charged with packaging compelling content into web site posts, landing pages and email campaigns to support the Development Office’s marketing program.

This role is temp to perm onsite in Boston, and it starts immediately! They’d be looking for someone 2-5 years of experience. Must haves: Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be customer (internal) facing. The role is very deadline driven and they need someone who can think independently and have the ability to manage 12-16 projects at once.

In this role, you’d be working with writers, designers, developers, and internal customers from the events and fundraising teams. You’d be helping to develop and package content, proof and layout email campaigns, and working heavily in Wordpress.

The Interactive Producer will be responsible for packaging editorial content and rich media into engaging digital content that drives results, including publishing news posts, landing pages, email campaigns and search and social advertising campaigns in support of Massachusetts General Hospital’s fundraising goals and efforts, including fundraising, event promotion, content marketing and brand awareness campaigns.

We seek an exceptional contributor and team player, with strong project management skills and a proven ability to produce engaging, on-brand digital marketing collateral working with an editorial team, and a keen ability to keep track of multiple, competing priorities and tight deadlines in a busy environment. Supported by a team network, this position is a mix of the technical and creative sides of digital marketing – partnering with writers to craft and execute posts and campaigns driven by organizational goals and client and stakeholder needs. Innovation, adaptability, accountability, attention to detail and a can-do attitude are keys to success in this role. Agency experience is a plus.

Major Duties
• Produce all email marketing campaigns for the department, transposing content and images, working with a modular template library and email marketing software, hand-coding in HTML as needed, and managing visual assets including optimizing
• Package editorial content and images/multimedia into news posts and landing pages and work with the editorial team to ensure content is published to the Department’s standards in a timely fashion
• Upload and format all videos produced for events and makes them web ready, including optimizing them for search engine, as well as performing any needed light editing
• Publish event listings and landing pages/sign up forms in support of Development Office events
• Train staff to become web content authors on office Content Management System (CMS), WordPress; identify new training opportunities and develop training material as dictated by staff needs
• Stay abreast of latest trends and emerging best practices and provide instruction and mentorship to staff on the,
• Develop business process recommendations to improve digital workflow
• Provide support to the editorial team to identify relevant key words and other material to support search engine optimization
• Ensure that all images are properly formatted and optimized for the web
• Troubleshoot technical issues with the web site and perform daily quality assurance checks to ensure a consistent user experience for donors, prospects and other web site visitors
• Build and maintain donation forms and other transactional forms, using a content management system/the department’s ecommerce system
• Respond to new project requests and evaluate the appropriate effort needed and manage the production schedules of new requests
• Work with members of the Information Management team to develop email marketing lists and ensure unsubscribe request and other list maintenance is reflected in Raiser’s Edge
• Provide support for the department’s peer-to-peer fundraising/crowdfunding platform and interface with donors and fundraisers as needed to provide support.
