In this assignment as a producer on the Global Campaigns team at Aquent's client, you will be responsible for cross-functionally project managing high-level promotions from concept to fruition across all platforms in the client Music environments. Working closely with multiple production teams, the producer cross-functionally organizes and streamlines all aspects of a campaign to ensure business goals are met and the best possible customer experience is served. Sitting at the center of the project as a tactical hub, producers are the primary point of contact for all teams. Producers work with business and technical teams to disseminate all information from a central position — project statuses, changes in scope, timelines and deliverables.
Recent examples of high-level promotions led by a Global Campaigns Producer include live streaming/VOD events as well as confidential album releases.
Complex promotions necessitate efficient and clear communication with many collaborating teams — Ui/UX Design and Engineering, Localization, Marketing and Publicity, Artist and Label Relations, Original Content/Live Events, Radio. Producer must be experienced in corralling several channels of feedback into cohesive action items. The producer is solely responsible for documenting the plan of record, maintaining thoughtful timelines with considerations for potential rapid shifts in business needs as well as compiling ongoing updates and top-level summaries for business and production executives.
Global campaigns frequently have more than one stakeholder necessitating layers of review. The producer is responsible for identifying the chain of approvals in advance if multiple executive teams are involved. They should exhibit an innate ability to identify process redundancies and inefficiencies and in turn work to provide solutions and/or necessary escalations to resolve the issues while minimizing disruption to production.
In addition to excellent organization, conflict resolution and communication skills, the producer should have above average knowledge of live production video streaming, on-site/off-site content capture, digital supply chains and subscription services models. Producer must be able to clearly and effectively communicate both business and technical goals with confidence and clarity.
