Interactive Marketing Coordinator

Vitamin T has a great client seeking an Interactive Marketing Coordinator. Individual will be responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined digital marketing strategy to foster ongoing digital engagement with members. The position is responsible for creating managing, evaluating, planning, establishing best practices and executing the organization’s e-mail marketing, social media, website and digital media efforts. Throughout these digital and online marketing efforts, the position will ensure that they meet the marketing and branding objectives of Association Forum and its programs. Additionally, the position will actively seek out and create new online marketing opportunities including new social media platforms, online learning and other interactive marketing tools.

2-4 years of experience in interactive and marketing and media strategy and producing and maintaining online media. Experience with associations, content management systems and e-mail marketing tools strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent written, verbal, organizational, management, and customer service skills are required. Knowledge of Web development language(s) like HTML and CMS are required. Must possess direct experience with interactive marketing and media strategies. High level of initiative and creativity is essential. Advanced PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications, desktop publishing, video/photo editing software, Adobe Creative Suite, social networking sites, Google Analytics and ability and willingness to learn new software and programs as required. CRM system experience a plus. Proficiency with basic reporting and queries a plus. Be flexible, adaptable, and able to work on a wide variety of tasks independently and in a team structure. Possess the ability to meet deadlines, manage projects, set priorities, work independently with minimal oversight, and demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail. Must possess a strong user understanding about web content, usability, architecture, development and design.

Job Functions:
Leadership and Strategic Involvement:
• Develop and implement strategic, interactive, technology-based marketing plan, including innovative ways to dialogue and communicate with target audiences.
• Recommend, create and implement the interactive marketing budget, monitor expenditures and track trends and budget comparisons.
• Develop and oversee new interactive marketing campaigns, to significantly grow membership and program attendance based on email statistics, industry trends, and business goals.

Websites:
• Lead usability enhancements, launch new functionality, manage content and design standards, introduce community features, and integrate social media efforts into organizational websites.
• Manage maintenance and lead monthly updating of website pages using established content management systems.
• Lead staff and volunteer training on web-related tools.
• Create a high-quality user experience by working with staff to ensure consistency and accuracy of all website pages, images and content.
• Develop and publish web analytics reports.

Email Marketing:
• Write, build, execute, optimize and maintain email campaigns and reporting and ensure that these products and services are produced accurately and distributed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Act as project manager for coordinating all email campaigns between external/internal customers.
• Recommend and maximize existing databases and new recruitment pipelines to strategically segment and recruit new members and current members.
• Adhere to and enforce the graphic, style and brand standards.

Social Media:
• Develop and execute a clearly defined social media strategy to foster ongoing engagement and conversations between Association forum and the association community.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of social networking communities, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and MyForum including approving members, responding to inquiries and maintaining each respective account.
• Post consistent updates, respond to member needs, and integrate marketing messages into posts and conversations.
• Lead training on social media-related tools.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create monthly analytical reports for all electronic communication vehicles, such as the website, email campaigns and social media tools.
• Produce video aspects of products, services and signature events, maintain the YouTube channel and work with Graphic Designer to create innovative visual aids.
• Create surveys and forms to support organizational research needs.
• Oversee in-house digital screens and work with graphic designer to provide updated images.
• Contribute to the content and lead the development of eNewletters and other digital publications.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
