As the Lead Interactive Designer for National Markets, you’ll have a ground floor opportunity to help build out a new NYC-based Creative team. Working closely with the Creative Director and Art Director, the Lead Interactive Designer will play a pivotal role in developing creative solutions from ideation to implementation. You will help guide the rollout of the look and feel of a newly rebranded major company, working with cross-functional teams from all levels of the organization to establish new visual vocabularies and workflows. This is a great opportunity to help build a team and produce innovative designs that will chart the direction and tone of our newest cutting-edge digital solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Help build our new Creative team and cultivate strong relationships with clients and partners
- Seamlessly build coded designs into standards-compliant dynamic HTML and CSS that engages the user every step of the way
- Suggest and implement functionality and usability improvements in order to improve the consumer experience
- Advocate Web interaction design best practices, with a focus on consistency, usability and cross browser/device compatibility
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and help craft and evangelize the creative strategy and roadmap
- Work closely with back-end developers to optimize existing Web technology and create the best possible user experience
- Suggest and implement workflow improvements such as online collaboration tools, project management software, version tracking tools, etc.
- Accurately estimate task timelines to ensure that development standards, best practices and technical quality are met and maintained
- Coordinate with Creative Director, Art Director, Designers, UX Specialists, Developers and Product Managers to ensure visual design consistency across products and projects
- Troubleshoot issues to help identify and mitigate technical risks by providing feedback on any potential development challenges during visual design reviews
- Meticulously ensure the quality of your work, possess a keen eye for user-friendly layouts and strive for pixel-perfect design across different browsers and devices
- Review and critique all projects to maintain consistent creative quality
- Understand business objectives and help define deliverables
