Interactive Designer

Our client is a large financial institution in Pennington, NJ and they are looking for an Interactive Designer to join their team for a 12 to 18 month contract. This role is 35 hours per week/7 per day (can rise to 40 during busy or coverage periods with manager approval). Health benefits and 401K are offered.

The Interactive Designer will work with the Creative Services team to concept, design, and produce communications for electronic distribution in support of financial education and wellness communications for 401(k), Equity, and other retirement plans. The Interactive Designer position is responsible for creating electronic communications and education materials/collateral to promote products and services.
• Layout and design electronic communications developed to educate plan participants throughout the life stages and priorities their lives take them
• Ensure that all pieces produced maintain appropriate branding standards and support a strong presence of multicultural images

Minimum Requirements of Interactive Designer:
• Four year College degree in Interactive Design or closely related field
• Must have solid knowledge of the Macintosh platform and operating system
• HTML coding for email and web (HTML, HTML 5 CSS & CSS3), knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery a plus
• Solid experience or certification in Adobe CS 6 Dreamweaver & PhotoShop, (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Fireworks a plus)
• Knowledge of the PC platform, Microsoft Office (2013), SharePoint 2013
• Knowledge of SalesForce/Exact Target a plus
• Excellent organizational skills, creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment
• Experience and/or background in agency or corporate marketing environment
• Ability to work in a team environment yet execute as an individual when needed

• Manage jobs from concept to completion
• Juggle numerous projects and provide back-up support to other designers.
• Continually think of new ways to present the same information for the best participant experience while containing costs
• Work with team members to concept or adjust pieces so that copy and design are in harmony
• Ensuring that pieces are designed to spec and well thought through early in the process
• Very high attention to detail on the creation and through entire process of developing a communication piece while following department standards
