Interactive Art Director/Designer

Our non-profit education focused client is looking immediately to bring on an Interactive Art Director & Designer for a Temp-Permanent assignment. This person will play a critical role in creating and maintaining a consistent visual style that best represents their brand in all forms of digital marketing, including (but not limited to) their website, email, and online advertising. This role will report to the Creative Director, and will work closely with members of the Marketing department's digital, insights, and account teams.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• 4+ years of visual web design experience in an agency, studio or freelance environment.
• Degree in graphic design, interactive communications, or similar.
• Experience in web design and be skilled in designing creative for digital media.
• Experience with print design.
• An expertise in Typography.
• Strong illustration skills (for icon and other design).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other web tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of current HTML/CSS best practices and web standards.
• Familiarity and experience with social media platforms.
• Proven communication skills.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• A track record of successfully working collaboratively across teams.
• A deep understanding of the creative landscape and new technologies.
• Experience designing for mobile platforms a plus!
