INTERACTION DESIGNER
Interaction Designer (Contract)
Location- San Francisco, CA (onsite required)
Duration- 3+ months
Type- contract
Hourly Pay rate- DOE
Start- 2 weeks after offer extended

Duties:
Explore design direction in collaboration with the team.
Push the boundaries of design through a solid understanding of the user and ability to inspire- and engage the team.
Manage interaction design projects in a timely fashion with clear goals and accountabilities.
Collaborate with the team to build cohesive and seamlessly integrated experience.
Take a hands-on responsibility in producing scenarios, process flows, wireframes, and other artifacts required to develop and evolve user experience designs.
Work with user research to coordinate testing efforts, interpret test results, and incorporate results into design efforts.

Skills:
A solid experience in partnering with user research.
A portfolio that evidences designing end to end ux that demonstrates sensitivity to diverse subject matter and media (software/tv/large display/mobile devices)
Creative and ambitious mindset.
Self-motivation, excellent communication, an open mind, the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams, and the skills to balance great design with short deadlines and the highest-standards output.
Expertise creating a variety of design documentation including user scenarios, task flows, conceptual models, competitor analysis, and heuristic analysis.
Exposure to and understanding of variety of design and development processes and methodologies including agile development methods.
Experience shipping innovative and complex ux products within milestone deadlines.
Possess ability to think conceptually about design and information architecture.
Understand the array of technical constraints, user goals and business requirements that shape future products.
Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Education:
MA or MS in a design-related field (for example: HCI, interaction or graphic design) or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience as a professional UX or concept designer.
