Interaction Designer

Vitamin T needs a skilled Interaction Designer with an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates an eye towards innovation and the technical skills to match. The selected person will be the designer behind the overall user experience for a variety of products.

The selected candidate will work with the Product Development team to conceptualize, design, and maintain product interfaces. You will pass your days managing IA/UI/UX for assigned products, providing strategic direction on interface proje¬cts, and conduct usability research to ensure our products are the best they can be. You never know what kind of innovative and challenging project you may be assigned, so we’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, technically skilled, and daring.

Job Responsibilities:

Create sketches, wireframes, low-fi and high-fi prototypes based on requirements from stakeholders
Create interface specifications for development
Manage and shape UX/UI new and existing products
Iterate designs based on feedback from the team and end users
Conduct user tests after designs have been implemented and provide suggestions for improvement
Help build the language learning tools that you yourself want to be using.

Position Requirements:

Submission of a public portfolio or examples of past work
Software: Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Sketch, Axure, Principle, InVision, Proto I.O ECT.
UX Techniques: Lean UX, Interviewing, Personas, Competitive Analysis, Heuristic Evaluation, Usability Testing.
Design Techniques: Paper & Digital Prototyping / Wire Framing, Storyboarding
Familiar using various prototyping technologies.
Application Design: Mobile Design, Responsive Design, Accessibility (ADA, 505 Compliance)
Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Google Analytics


Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction
Knowledge of: 3D design, illustration & graphic design, Storytelling, Motion Design, videography, interest in entrepreneurship, game design, psychology, anthropology or behavioral economics.
