Interaction Designer

Responsible for visual and interactive design focused on encouraging user interaction and providing a memorable brand experience.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.

8-10 years experience, designing consumer/enterprise-level websites and interfaces.

Skills and Competencies: Exceptional proficiency in visual design utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator. Creative, imaginative, and action-oriented approach to tasks. Thorough knowledge of software/website usability standards and conventions.

Experience working with complex information architecture and interactive systems. Knowledge of web development skills/tools such as CSS/HTML (HTML5, CSS3).

Knowledge of Flash animation/actionscript a bonus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills as well as focused attention to detail.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Generate exceptional creative concepts, presentations, and prototypes. Design outstanding web sites, mobile apps, and social media campaigns for world-class organizations.

Responsibilities may extend to overall IA, UI and user flow.
Produce creative designs accurately, on concept, and on time. Consult with clients and colleagues to ensure designs are understood, implemented, and produced appropriately.
Research and discover new design trends and technologies.
Seek out innovative design styles, illustration, and photography.
Produce design specification/style guide (graphics and writing).

Primary Function: Designs and develops training programs for the organization.
Design assessment and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Directly involved in the initial and on-going design and development of training programs for Citizens Financial Group.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage multiple assigned instructional design projects (classroom and eLearning) that meet needs for all of Citizens Financial Groups.

Assist in formal need assessment to determine needs for retail organization and make appropriate recommendations for design of new curriculums or enhancements of current curriculums to meet needs.

Develop surveys, assessments, and evaluations methods for all curriculums to determine effectiveness.

Analyze assessments and evaluations to identify any performance gaps in training curriculums.

Make appropriate design enhancements and/or recommendations to retail training curriculums based on analysis.

Perform front-end analysis by comparing actual and ideal performance levels in the workplace; identify opportunities and strategies for performance improvement through training design and curriculums.

Participate in business related meetings as requested or required
All other duties as assigned by management

Job Qualifications:
3-5+ years experience in Instructional Design and Development and eLearning design.

Understand the theories, techniques, and appropriate applications of training interventions used for performance improvement and meet training needs of retail banking.
Strong communication skills (verbal, nonverbal and written)

Effectively interact with others within organization to produce meaningful outcomes
Ability to identify skills, knowledge and attitudes required to perform job duties through-out retail banking
Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
Understand the implication of current and evolving computer-based electronic communication
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Access, Authoring tools, Captivate, WIDS, etc)
BA/BS Degree preferred
