Interaction Designer

An Interaction Designer has a broad role working on projects from start to finish as a contributor and a project lead. At the front end of a program, you will work with clients to drive the product definition and design strategy. During the course of the design process, you’ll engage in a variety of tools, doing whatever it takes to make things happen- participating in workshops, creating storyboards and high-fidelity wireframes, screen layouts, generating graphic assets and creating or overseeing the production of interactive demonstrations.

This is a job that will require exceptional visual talent, instinct and problem-solving abilities, as well as a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate will have a healthy respect for work-life balance and therefore will be highly self-motivated and focused during normal work hours. You’ll work hard, play hard, and laugh hard while making great things happen.

Essential Qualifications

Participate in requirements gathering activities, workshops, and product definition exercises.
Develop scenarios and storyboards to communicate design concepts to team members and clients.
Create wireframes and visual design concepts of the highest quality and precision.
Create graphic assets, detailed screen layouts, flows, and design specifications.
Create interactive prototypes or demos in Flash.
Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a design-related major.
2-8 years’ experience, including some agency work; experience designing for devices is a plus.
