As an Interaction Designer, you will explore and build novel experiences that engage and delight users. Depending on the project, you may be involved in all aspects of design: from early explorations through concept prototyping and pixel-level specification. Special projects require significant creativity and flexibility from designers. More than anything, an attitude of exploration and openness will lead to success as a Special Projects designer.
Your day may involve designing interfaces, mapping out user journeys, creating visual assets, brainstorming in a large group, or prototyping interactions. You have a strong interest in technology and have worked alongside engineers and product managers. You will collaborate closely with the design lead, other designers in the team, user researches and product managers.
Top 3 daily responsibilities:
Gather and understand requirements from cross functional teams and collaborator
Design concepts and end-to-end experiences based on requirements and review designs with product and UX teams
Iterate on designs based on feedback and user research
BA or BS in design or a related field
2+ years working in a user experience design role
Adept at design software and prototyping tools
Fantastic interaction and/or visual design skills
Nice to have:
Experience designing across multiple device types and contexts
Ability to inform and persuade multi-function audiences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proven ability with mobile application design
