We need an interaction Designer!!!

You must have what is listed below! If you feel you are a fit, please send me your resume and a link to your portfolio!

Interaction Designer
· Functional requirements gathering – very important. At times this may be primarily the designer’s responsibility; the designer should be great at helping discover the difference between what’s asked for and what’s truly valuable.
· User and Task Research – important skill that should be used as needed, not looking for a dedicated researcher. Will work very closely in person with our users and stakeholders.
· Information architecture – extremely important and probably a significant part of this role. Existing interfaces are built around the data model rather than the user’s information model, and we have a big roadmap of future new features, so improving the user experience requires great information modeling that considers existing and future information.
· Ideation – extremely important. This person will be a critical idea generator for how to solve problems and how to fit them into the current and future solutions.
· Prototyping, Wire-framing – extremely important. This person will be the primary person creating wireframes and interactive prototypes when needed.
· Usability testing – extremely important. Closing the loop with users to evaluate the design and the developed solution is a big gap today.
· Visual Design – some chops would be nice to have, but this doesn’t need to be their strength.
· Interaction Design – extremely important. They must be able to understand and bring together information, visual design, space use (wireframes, layout), user’s time in the system, and user response (behavior).
· UI development – some required javascript/html/css experience, but not expected to develop. A basic understanding of development concerns is necessary for communicating effectively with developers.
