Integrated Marketing Communications Manager

The Integrated Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for driving integrated marketing campaigns and
programs that support the business objectives for sustained growth. This role will be developing,
implementing, and measuring all aspects of integrated marketing campaigns that cut across a range of categories,
businesses, and customer segments. This person will utilize digital, social, public relations, advertising, sales
enablement, customer tools, and brand management to form cohesive marketing communications campaigns. A
key objective for this role will be to ensure our marketing communications programs are well aligned, are as
effective and efficient as possible, and are having maximum impact. Working knowledge of earned, owned and
paid media and mediums is critical. This person will be working with the business teams across Products,
Solutions, and Sales, and directly with senior management. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization
and project management skills are essential, and a sense of gravitas along with poise under pressure and a get-it-
done work ethic are key to success.


-Develop marketing communications programs and campaigns to support business growth objectives
and priorities, including an annual marketing communications plan with new product launches, trade shows,
web sites, brochures, and other collateral materials incorporated

-Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and the organization to build aligment and support for
integrated campaigns – from high level objectives and execution to metrics and analysis; coordinate across
departmental boundaries to solve problems and quickly resolve execution roadblocks

-Manage marketing programs and campaigns to ensure they are meeting corporate brand guidelines
and building brand equity by delivering relevant and meaningful communications and experiences and driving
brand standards, while ensuring deliverable deadlines are met

-Ablity to develop and execute against creative briefs in collaboration with the product marketing team,
provide creative direction and strategy on projects, and implement overall corporate and/or product

-Oversee the marketing communications editing and approval process to ensure high-quality standards

-Establish and implement repeatable and scalable processes and project management for marketing
communications for Americas; identify cost savings opportunities

-Identify and incorporate objective metrics and ROI measures across marketing communications materials,
programs, and campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and overall performance; report back to management;
adjust future tactics and campaigns as needed

-Leverage trends and best practices in consumer and medical marketing to drive innovative and effective
communications strategy

-Manage external agencies and contractors to provide flexibility in bandwidth, throughput and staffing levels,
as well as incorporate relevant expertise from outside the company (e.g., direct the activities of outside
designers, creative agencies, photographers, writers, printers, etc.)

-Negotiate with printing firms, publications, and other vendors; obtain estimates and assist in vendor selection
for projects in various media

-Maintain awareness of new media technology, techniques, and strategies such as social networks, and
integrate them into communication plans

-Travel domestically and internationally up to 15%


-10-12 years of experience in marketing and business to include: future product marketing, current business
marketing communications, branding, value proposition and messaging, and working with agencies

-Demonstrated strong project management experience

-Experience working in and leading cross-functional teams successfully by setting high standards for
performance in marketing, providing feedback to team members, and ensuring accountability for results

-Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, vendors, and customers

-Experience in a fast-paced environment requiring a sense of urgency and an understanding of changing
priorities with an emphasis on results, while providing support for the team through your diplomacy

-Demonstrated excellent communication skills utilizing strong listening skills and a logical, systematic approach
to assimilating and sharing information in all areas

-Experience in MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint; Web Administration preferred

-Bachelor's degree plus MBA preferred or equivalent education and experience
