Instructional Designer (Digital Marketing Training Lead)

This "Media Lab" at this top tech company is the central team in charge of coordinating all the online/offline media buys for their Marketing. The Media Lab members work with the Product Marketing Managers (PMMS) in developing media plans to promote products they are responsible for, and spend their marketing budget in the most efficient and effective manner.

This marketing team wants to become the world’s greatest digital marketer, and in order to do so needs to accomplish 2 things:
Take a digital-first approach to all its marketing campaigns;
Train the PMMs on the Digital Media landscape and best practices.

Media Lab is looking for a Digital Marketing Training Lead to develop, coordinate, and deliver a Digital Media Training for PMMs. The Training Lead will have to aggregate content and best practices from different specialists within Media Lab, as well as other specialist teams across the company, and develop a training curriculum that would include a half-day in person training session, as well as in-depth self-study modules.

The Training Lead will also work in coordination with other teams to create a unified training calendar to share with key stakeholders, report training progress, and evaluate the overall training programs to understand its effectiveness in increasing PMM knowledge of the core Digital Marketing concepts and best practices.

Responsibilities:
Consult with business partners and stakeholders to determine the most effective training strategy.
Established the training framework that supports in class sessions, as well as in-depth self training modules.
Analyze trends in media buying and best practices development from Marketing, anticipate learning needs, and devise appropriate training interventions.
Development of a unified training calendar and roadmap.
Develop standardized reports that show the effectiveness of training delivered to PMMs.
Drive training development to completion by managing timelines, overseeing the design process, and coordinating the delivery of training across all regions.
Manage agency selection and on-going management to deliver assets for in-person and online training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree in Education, Instructional Design, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of instructional design, training project management experience, adult learning and motivation theories.
Experience managing cross-functional projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MA degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
Consulting, relationship management and advocacy experience. Experience creating stakeholder and executive reports.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Experience with eLearning development tools e.g. Articulate, Adobe Presenter, and Adobe Captivate.
Knowledge of Google’s advertising platforms as well as core digital media principles and ecosystem.
Excellent communication (both verbal and written), presentation, and facilitation skills.
