Instructional Designer, Brand Advocate

The Worldwide Consumer Sales Training organization at Aquent's client, is a dynamic and creative team that helps reseller partners represent the high quality of the brand in over ninety countries. For this assignment, we’re looking for the right person to join them in developing staff in thousands of retail locations around the world.  Customer experience is number one and that includes not only highly-skilled, friendly staff, but also a beautiful, seamless physical environment.  Staff in the Brand Advocate program ensure that fixtures, graphics, and demo devices in reseller stores are well maintained and working properly, so that customers can experience for themselves what it’s like to use client products.
In this role, you’ll create compelling learning experiences for Brand Advocate staff. You’ll bring instructional design expertise; a passion for helping people learn; and experience in video production. You’ll embrace new and exciting challenges as we move at the speed of sales. And you’ll define the learning journey for Brand Advocates across the globe.

Here are some of the things you’ll do:
• Develop learning experiences for mobile app, classroom, and virtual classroom 

• Design a curriculum and a strategy for building it out 

• Work with subject matter experts to understand client merchandising content 

• Work with the video production vendor to create how-to videos 

• Follow content as it goes through the editing, graphic design, and video production process 

• Apply client standards to produce training deliverables in the conversational, intelligent, and elegant style that reflects the client brand 

• Gather, synthesize, and incorporate input from program managers, instructional designers, and production team at various stages of development 

Here’s what you’ll need to excel in this role:
• Experience creating training content, ideally for mobile and for a global audience
• Experience designing and developing curricula

• Experience in video production

• Exceptional writing skills 

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines

• High attention to detail

• Self-driven to collaborate and seek feedback while staying on goal 

• Comfort with ambiguity and able to learn fast and adapt quickly to change
• Experience in merchandising a plus

• Experience working in a retail environment a plus

• Experience designing an on-boarding curriculum a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or equivalent experience
