Our client is a leader in the telecommunications industry and they've asked for our help identifying an INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER for a long term contract engagement.

The Training Design Specialist will be an individual with a 'hands on' approach to all facets of training. This role focuses on designing online content for multiple retail channels as well as supporting the online Learning Management System.

Key Responsibilities include:
Training Design and LMS Management:
- Design e-learning courses and sales tools for multiple sales channels.
- Design messaging with creativity and clarity, determining the most appropriate training vehicle.
- Convert complex projects into simple and effective collateral.
- Ensure corporate design standards are adhered to.
- Validate course content and update as required.
- Support the Learning Management System (LMS) and associated reporting.

We’ve always got hot stuff going on at Virgin Mobile. We’re looking for a candidate that will pull up their sleeves and dig into anything we throw their way.

The ‘must haves’…
- University degree or College Diploma in Graphic/Web Design, Communications or Business.
- 1-5 Years of graphic design experience for a business, corporation, creative firm, etc.
- Formal education/certification/designation(s) in Training including applied Adult Learning principles is an asset.
- Working knowledge of training, communication applications/tools; (Articulate, LMS platforms/SCORM).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Dreamweaver.
- Solid MS Office Suite skills in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint & Excel.
- Solid Instructional Design skills – ability to synthesise content into simple, fun, on-brand messaging.
- Thorough understanding in the graphic design field of page layout, typography and design theory.
- Highly self motivated, proactive, comfortable multitasking with acute attention to detail. We want to make sure you read everything; be sure your favourite ice cream is included in your cover letter.

Bonus Points:
Bilingual, English/French.
