Instructional Designer

Our F500 financial services client is looking for an Instructional Designer to help distill corporate policies and procedures into educational tools, training programs and websites. Channels include, but are not limited to: website, print brochures, presentations, and video (design, development and editing).

Training: The Online Learning Designer will be responsible for vendor risk training modules from design and content development through distribution, duties include:

•Collecting and organizing all training related content
•Work with Training and Development Professional to:
Understand internal program knowledge needs, identify gaps and develop learning goals/objectives.
Develop course content from initial ideal through delivery of final product to instructors
Develop training slides and a training script for assigned courses.
Develop quizzes and tests
Develop tools, templates, and how-to guide content
Develop exercises to accompany the courses
Develop a manager / facilitator manual to accompany the course content
•Coordinate with a team of other content developers to develop a set of content development
•Utilize solid adult learning theory practices and design learning materials and experiences that meet the business objectives.
•Produce new and updated presentation materials (PPT), instructor guides, participant guides, job aids, and e-Learning for Product Trainers.
•Review and create relevant and meaningful knowledge checks, tests, certification and course assessments to evaluate learning outcomes.
•Lead the action to establish an eLearning and instructor-led development framework and style guide.


Qualifications
•Robust portfolio of digital, print, and web design projects that demonstrate advanced conceptual thinking and execution of designs to solve specific problems.
•Past experience or education in instructional design
•Excitement about bringing a brand to life -- both online and offline.
•Solid understanding of the fundamentals of product design as it relates to developing wireframes, mapping user experience flows, and interaction/interface design across desktop and mobile.
•Fantastic organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
•Skills that are a plus: data visualization and illustration

Desired Skills and Experience:
•Mastery-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office any experience in the Saba/ Saba Cloud design environment
•3+ years of experience in instructional design and a mix of print, web, and digital design
•Experience with vendor risk management a plus
