TITLE: Instructional Designer

Our client's Global Talent Acquisition, Recruiter Learning team is seeking a rock star Instructional Designer with experience working across multiple instructional delivery modalities to develop high-quality training for a global audience.
The Instructional Designer position will be responsible for the instructional design and development of our eLearning and blended learning courseware. This may also include developing certification curricula, new hire curricula, specialist and SME curricula, operational readiness testing, surveys, quizzes, quality metrics and other available tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training and assess new learning and skill development through to Subject Matter Expert.
Additionally, the Instructional Designer may be responsible for instructor led content, virtual classroom design, tool kits, study guides, performance support aids for all of our global sites.
The ideal candidate will be ready to contribute non-traditional ideas that will influence the evolution of our existing training offerings. The person we are looking for will have experience with designing training for a broad range of media and interaction types. Experience with assessment of learning impact will be vital.
Expertise in designing, developing, planning, implementing and assessing training.
Demonstrated experience developing to current eLearning standards.
Knowledge and proven application of learner-centered, performance-based instructional theories and adult learning principles in face-to-face, virtual classroom, and self-directed eLearning modalities
Demonstrated experience developing eLearning courseware, performance support aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials, including gaming modules.
Demonstrated proficiency in development eLearning tools such as Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Flash,
Excellent communication skills and editing for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers.
Excellent coordination and organization skills.
Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter.
At least 5 years’ experience in an instructional design role.
Bachelor’s degree or significant college course work, preferably in a communication, education or related field.
Strong self-directed project management and collaboration skills
LMS administration experience including eLearning publishing.
Ability to work independently
Proven project management and program management experience and the ability to Prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlines.
Great eye for usability and judgment for when/how to leverage graphical solutions to convey information.
