LOCATION: San Francisco CA
START DATE: ASAP
CONTRACT: Full-Time | Mon-Fri | 6 Months (Possibility for Conversion!)
PAY:$40-$50/hr (based on experience)

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM ASAP!

GENERAL SUMMARY:
This role will enable the on-going education of the end users of a world-class support system. This application is currently responsible for decisioning within the inventory management business process that encompasses a broad spectrum of technologies in the Microsoft stack.

To be effective in this role, a candidate must possess a unique blend of instructional design expertise, business knowledge, change management and effective training skills, an understanding of the application, and great communication and planning skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Executes the design and creation of new user training as well maintaining existing training collateral across all application supported organizations
• Delivers content that supports key short and long range learning goals and objectives in alignment with division strategic goals and direction
• Provides needs assessments and on-going analysis of learning programs to insure effectiveness of trainings and education programs delivered.
• Recommends designs of complex and original technical and non-technical training programs for employees and management.
• Designs materials for professional level programs for employees and management
• Provides feedback to others regarding existing concepts, processes and/or
• Generally performs within broadly defined practices and guidelines, and also modifies or suggests enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Competent in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Adobe Acrobat and Captivate experience desired
• Experience developing complex training materials for variety of business applications
• Detail-oriented and organized with a strong discipline of adhering to standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication – clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
• Has a demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning theory, needs analysis, stand-up platform and presentation/facilitation skills and instructional design principles
• Experience developing complex training materials for variety of business applications
