Instructional Designer

Client seeks instructional designer with strong background in designing classroom (instructor-led) learning experiences. Expertise in graphic design, familiarity with user-centered design, and experience launching a product and working with engineering is preferred.

***Must provide portfolio with work samples.***

Responsibilities:
Design classroom training (including needs analysis and all materials) for employees
Scope needs with stakeholders
Work with subject matter experts to gather and validate content
Create content that is meaningful, concise and engaging for global audience, with particular emphasis for engineers

Requirements:
3+ years of instructional design experience
Experience developing, delivering, and iterating on live classroom training
Ability to write concise copy and optimize text for digital learning
Strong graphic design skills in a style that fits the Google brand
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under ambitious timeframes in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.


Nice to have:
Familiarity/experience with user-centered design
Graphic design and media asset production: Photoshop or Illustrator
An effective communicator both written and verbally, comfortable presenting to audiences, including senior personnel
Has a keen knowledge of and interest in current developments in interactive media, particularly as they apply to learning
