Instructional Designer

We anticipate upcoming needs with clients in the Denver are for Instructional Designers. While there is not an immediate position available, we would love to speak to anyone interested in future opportunities.

Instructional designers will work with content experts, program coordinators, project managers and the curriculum team on new course development and course revision projects. This role assures that courses adhere to sound academic and design principles and meet institution-specific standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Assist content experts in the development of course goals, learning objectives, activities and assessment instruments including scoring rubrics
• Ensure compliance with instructional design guidelines
• Provide support and advisement to content experts to ensure courses serve learning objectives and embody sound instructional design principles
• Design learning activities, specification for graphics, and multimedia for courses
• Excellent interpersonal, written communication, oral communication, and organizational skills.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project deliverables
• Perform quality assurance on courses

Experience and Educational Requirements:
• Master’s degree in instructional design, education technology, or related field with two years of relevant work experience in the design, development, and delivery of online course materials and education programs
• Proven ability to work effectively, independently and as a member of a team
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
