Our client is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to design and develop blended learning and certification curricula for internal support teams and self-service learning and certification curricula for publishers and authors. Overall, the Sr. Instructional Designer will be responsible for driving high quality training content for all e/mLearning programs, virtual classroom design, tool kits, study guides, performance support aid.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to:
•Interactive Media Design, or related field; or equivalent experience developing training and/or communication pieces
•Experience with instructional authoring tools (eLearning and mLearning)
•Expertise with instructional technologies design and media development tools.
•Strong instructional design, writing, and oral communication skills
•Strong aesthetic, design composition and typographic abilities
•Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
•Must be technologically independent and able to work as part of a virtual team
•Strong analytical and researching skills
•Full development-cycle experience (analysis, design, development, testing, and support) beneficial
•Adult learning (Andragogy) and Kirkpatrick evaluation models

•Familiarity with asynchronous, facilitator-led online learning environments beneficial
•Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with demonstrable experience to consistently deliver high quality results
•Passionate dedication to the delivery of consistent and unparalleled customer experience
•Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail.
•Commitment to identifying and communicating creative and innovative ideas in ways that gain consensus and build partnership. Takes own ideas or the ideas of others and strategizes, plans, and executes successfully.
•Experience with developing and improving upon existing processes.
•Ability to communicate relevant information to all levels of the organization.
•Ability to facilitate needs assessments to determine the most appropriate learning solution, and be able to develop and deploy content using various instructional methodologies and treatments including, work flows, simulations, websites, virtual classroom training, videos, and performance support tools

Basic Qualifications
•Must act independently and be self-motivated. Prioritizes, manages and meets deadlines.
•Global thinker who performs well in high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
•6-8 years experience building customer facing learning and certification programs
•Bachelor's degree required


Preferred Qualifications
•An understanding of Taxonomy and Information architecture a plus
•An understanding of software systems with an emphasis in digital media
•MBA or other advanced degree preferred
