Instructional Designer

Our healthcare client, located in Chicago, IL has an immediate need for a contract Instructional Designer. This client will require drug and background screening.

 

  • This position is responsible for analyzing complex performance gaps and learning needs; creating program or curricula-level design strategy documents, and designing effective and efficient learning strategies and deliverables for the Internal Operations divisions.
  • The scope includes instructional design for Instructor-Led, Web-Based, and blended solutions; leading teams that consult with customers and internal workgroups; the creation, execution and management of communication plans and project management activities related to complex learning strategies; and the development of evaluation of learning and business outcomes.
  • Develop and manage the planning and implementation complex learning strategies that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Identify and solve project risks as appropriate with minimal management intervention.
  • Provide operational expertise and relationship building with customers to influence individuals, teams and groups to identify, gather support for, design and implement the most effective solutions to performance problems
  • collaborate in leading change management initiatives
  • Adept at analysis, planning and creating multiple solutions, capable of implementing and executing strategic plans based on understanding business dynamics and desired customer outcomes.

 

Requirements:

  • Collaborate with SMEs to collect content for training solutions and obtain approval of completed solution.
  • Learn and employ Lectora, Captivate 8, Snagit, and Adobe Presenter-based course template, applying enterprise learning development standards.
  • Design and develop interactive/multimedia SCORM learning activities that incorporate elements of social, scenario, and game based learning.
  • Create embedded media (animation, images, audio, video, etc.) for use in SCORM learning activities.
  • Create custom ActionScript code for interactive, dynamic Flash content.
  • Create and modify custom SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 manifests.
  • Package and configure learning activities (Web-Based, Instructor-Led, Virtual, Curriculum, etc.) for use in the SumTotal LMS.
  • Expert in instructional design with a thorough knowledge of adult learning concepts
  • Expert in developing of interactive web-based training in Lectora, Captivate 8, Snagit, and Adobe Presenter, employing Flash interactions and multimedia components
  • Expert in instructional tools and technologies, including:

  • MS Project 2007, MS Office 2016,Lectora X12 , Captivate 8 or higher
  • SnagIt11 or higher
  • Flash CS3 or higher (animation & ActionScript 2/3)
  • Captivate 5.5 8 or higher
  • Photoshop CS3 or higher
  • SCORM development Recommended

  • Dreamweaver
  • CS3 or higher
