Aquent's Fortune 500 client is looking for two Instructional Designers to work a 6 month contract with a strong likelihood to extend in Dallas, TX. The Instructional Designer designs, develops and modifies curriculum, documentation and other training materials to e-learning initiatives across the company. Develops and assists in the implementation of training programs, job aids, and other performance improvement solutions. They will be working in Articulate Story Line, Quiz Maker and Camtasia. A big plus would be candidates that have multimedia or graphic design experience, working in the Adobe Creative Suite, although this is not required.

This role is a pure development position and will be a heads down role, working to meet our scheduled deadlines. The role will be 100% on-site and will not allow for any work-from-home. Recent Articulate Storyline experience is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable in the ADDIE methodology and comfortable working in all phases. Candidates should be comfortable working in a very fast paced environment with little direction. They should be able to deliver work and build relationships with Stakeholders without a lot of formalized processes.

• Develop course delivery timeline
• Creates training content based on development objectives and method of delivery
• Performs task analysis to evaluate effectiveness of training programs and makes recommendations for improvements
• Works with subject matter experts to obtain information required to develop new training
• Minimum one year of Curriculum Development experience or relevant training experience required
• Experience with design methodologies (e.g., Mager, Ruth Clark) required
• Knowledge of adult learning principles required
• Must have the ability to work under stressful situations and manage time effectively
• Must have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet department objectives and goals
• Be a self-starter and able to work with a minimum amount of supervision to accomplish assignments and projects
• Able to work effectively individually or in a strong Customer Service and/or Team environment
• Ability to work under tight time constraints and at times, in stressful situations
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new computer applications, processes and product information quickly
• Must have the ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet demands of the job
• Organizational skills and attention to detail a must
