Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is looking for Instructional Designers/Learning Design Specialists to create learning solutions based on requirements gathered during the analysis phase.

The Instructional Designer/Learning Design Specialist role will support the Learning & Development needs for the company’s Customer Service Center business unit. The business unit consists of Sales and Service groups. The Sales teams match and provide branded products to meet customer needs, while the Service teams answer customer questions and support the customer with product-specific processes or transactions. This role will directly support the Service teams with learning solutions (Instructor Led Training, Web Based Training, and others related to products and systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the creation of learning solutions and deliverables (Participant Guides, Leaders Guides, Job Aids, Simulations, eLearning modules, etc.) to support New Hire and Continuing Education needs of associates. This role requires a strong knowledge of Instructional Design and Adult Learning theory. The Instructional Designer/Learning Design Specialist will be able to use either the ADDIE, SAM or rapid prototyping methods to create the learning solutions requested. Candidate must also have skills in creating solutions in MS Office, Articulate Storyline and Adobe Products (e.g Captivate). Candidate will have at least 5-7+ years of experience.

Development skills in MS Office, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe products required.
