Our client is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their organization in a temp-to-perm position.

Job Description Instructional Designer/Project Manager:

Extend our customer’s in-person learning materials into online reinforcement

programs and manage the implementation process of the clients system with

the customer. Responsible for the development and appearance, organization and

functionality of the reinforcement learning systems.

Duties include:

• Analyze training materials to create reinforcement programs suited for cloud-
based and mobile delivery.

• Formulate with client the reinforcement objectives, measurement goals, and

determine the scope of the reinforcement.

• Employ fundamental project management skills to commit dates for work

products.

• Manage your workload and client expectations in order to consistently meet

deadlines with high quality work products.

• Work with subject matter experts to design the reinforcement timeline

and write engaging and appropriate reinforcement content.

• Select and recommend media (audio, visual, interactive) to support the

reinforcement objectives.

• Advise the client on the structure and layout of the instructional material.

• Plan and write assessment questions to support learning and measurement

goals.

• Supportclients growth and continued success through periodic internal

assignments which might involve process design, system design, peer reviews,

and other tasks as needed.

Other details: The position will be based in our Atlanta (Smyrna) office.

Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, growing business. This is not your

typical corporate position!

Salary commensurate with experience.

Desired Skills and Experience

Education/Experience Required:

Masters in instructional design or educational technology.

Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience planning instructional projects, writing

instructional content (both classroom and eLearning preferred, minimally eLearning),

interacting with clients, and meeting tight project deadlines.

Skills needed:

Instructional design, with a particular focus on transfer of learning and mobile

delivery

Strong writing ability, focused on short, instructional content suited for mobile

devices, and able to adapt to our clients’ writing style guidelines

Customer interaction and service

Able to manage multiple concurrent projects

Detail and quality oriented, with an analytical approach to instructional projects

Creative

Self-motivated

Able to communicate productively with both internal and external stakeholders

Basic knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other Office software

Knowledge of Google drive and Google documents and other productivity tools
