Instructional Designer - Temporary

The ID’s on this project will be reviewing existing courses in one of three Learning Management Systems and then will write instructions to web developers on how to transfer the content from the old LMS to a new one.

The project requires the Instructional Designer to rapidly write instructions in bulleted form, Word documents for web developers moving content from one of three different Learning Management Systems to a new LMS. The instructional designer will not be able to verbally explain how to do this to the developers or develop the content themselves.
Experience directly building courses in various LMS’s will be vital to filling this role, as will the ability to quickly identify how to fit that content into a pre-determined structure within the target LMS. There is no content creation associated with this project.

MUST HAVES:
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Performs Quality Assurance testing based on design documents, be very accurate
• Must possess strong understanding of areas such as adding text and images in web pages using HTML
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to meet deadlines
• Excellent organization skills; ability to multitask; detail-oriented

ENVIRONMENT:
• Corporate but business casual, fast paced.
