Innovations Project Manager

The Innovations Project Manager position is a client-facing role within the small but award-winning Innovations team at Talon. Since 2013 we have developed some of the most lauded and awarded campaigns in the OOH industry, and are delivering significant annual growth particularly in the areas of OOH experiences, bespoke installations and digital activations. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for the development and delivery of innovations-based projects for all Talon clients. This will involve researching production techniques, technologies and OOH media opportunities in order to create new, exciting, or interactive OOH advertising campaigns. You will then ultimately become Project Manager to the ideas you have created, and will be responsible for the successful and accurate delivery of your campaigns.
• Responsibility for delivering the highest level of service to Talon’s clients and agencies when planning and executing innovations-based campaigns.
• Have a strong understanding of the processes, structures and clients of our agency accounts.
• Have a good understanding of experiential campaign management and delivery.
• Build and maintain great relationships with media owners and partner companies at all levels.
• Contribution towards client and agency pitches when required.
• Contribution towards writing and compiling award entries whenever appropriate.
• Keep up to date with campaigns across the industry and share updates, campaigns, developments and opportunities with the Innovations team.

• Provide creative media planning inspiration across all of Talon’s client teams.
• Support the Head of Innovation in all campaign creation, development, and management.
• Have a strong understanding of planning principles and tools and the ability to articulate these to clients, agencies and media owners at all levels.
• Motivate and educate the agency account teams so they can become more knowledgeable and confident with innovations-based platforms and principles.
• Work in partnership with the Head of Innovation to identify PR opportunities for our business.

• Develop strategic campaign ideas in response to client briefs, as well as creating new opportunities for Talon clients.
• Collaborate with key production partners in the digital content, physical production and experiences spheres, as well as Innovations divisions of OOH Media Owners for our clients’ commercial advantage.
• On an ad-hoc basis collaborate with other 3rd party companies in the production, technology and communications industries to develop innovations-based OOH campaigns.
• Ensure accurate budgeting and tracking of all your campaigns.
• Identify and share opportunities for organic business development.

Experience Required
Experience working at Account/Client/Project Manager level or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience of project management, delivered with a commercial focus.
Experience of delivering OOH experiences, bespoke production pieces, or digital activations.
Knowledge and confidence of social media platforms, digital technology and mobile capabilities.
Experience in an OOH specialist, media owner and/or creative agency environment preferred but not essential.
Microsoft Office literate (Office 365).
