Information Architect /IA Designer

Our client is looking for an "IA" Information Architect. The ideal person will be responsible for but not limited to:

The Information Architect role will design and document user interface solutions for desktop, tablet, and mobile web-based applications. Designs should support business goals, follow contemporary user-centered design principles, and adhere to technical capabilities and limitations. Candidates must be able to design and present proof-of-concepts, iterate designs rapidly, incorporate feedback from partners, and keep meticulous documentation of interaction patterns. This role will work closely with key departmental management and project stakeholders across the organization. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff is a key priority in this role.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product owners, technical architects, and others throughout the software development life cycle to produce user-centered design solutions that meet business goals.
• Organize information by translating user behavior into media structure and elements to craft interactive experiences
• Produce workflow diagrams, user scenarios, flowcharts, and storyboards to solve aid business requirements and refine use cases.
• Create information architecture documentation for new projects and advance a strategy of creating reusable digital interface patterns and assets that can reduce development timelines and cost as well as promote consistency and usability across a variety of different platforms.
• Preparing interaction specifications, navigation rules, organization of information, and site maps, and prototypes;
• Coordinate with business, technology, visual, structural, content, and brand strategists.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 3+ years of professional experience
• General understanding web technologies (HTML, HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript) used in Responsive Design (RWD).
• Ability to apply usability best practices, use of space, text placement, and visual flow into a multi-language multi-device web application.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimum supervision.
• Efficient, productive, and flexible with a dynamic workload
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within project schedules and deadlines
• Proficiency with Axure RP Pro, Visio, OmniGraffle, iRise, or any other wireframing/prototyping software.
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Microsoft Office
