Information Architect

This Information Architect will lead research and strategy for information architecture, and interaction design to create superb user experiences. Proven experience in the ability to orchestrate and deliver an exceptional User Experience to large customer bases in complex digital environments, is essential. The right candidate will collaborate with the internal creative team as well as the account team on overall cross-media solutions. This is a full time, temp-to-hire position with a phenomenal company.


 Collaborate with staff, technical resources and business owners on workflow, UX requirements, prototypes, task analysis and customer profiles.

 Demonstrated experience working on responsive design projects.

 Has strong knowledge of information design principles and well developed skills in creating and documenting all aspects of business requirements, interface design (wire framing, story boarding, rough layouts, mock-ups, interface elements and icons), functional specifications (technical writing and annotations), user needs (flow charts, scenarios and prototype testing) and information architecture (site maps and navigation) are critical.

 Demonstrated ability to execute on IA of complex interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems.

 Demonstrated experience using web analytics data to inform design decisions.

 Demonstrated experience conducting user research and translating user research into design decisions.

 Gather and translate business requirements and user needs, task and goals into meaningful interactive experiences that satisfy users and/or reduce costs or improve profitability.

 Oversee the creation of prototypes and supply input into user testing.

 Collaborate with senior design and technical teams to insure proper execution of interaction design.

 Develop use cases to assist with QA teams to insure proper implementation of features and functions.

 Strategic and conceptual thinking that leads to ideas and solutions applicable to client challenges.

 Pair curiosity and knowledge to elevate and innovate your creative work in web, mobile and social media.

 Develop design solutions with a team of CD, AD, designers, copywriters and other partners.

 Uphold—and raise—the quality of thinking, creative execution and production.

 Create digital front-end designs including wireframes, web architecture and UX/UI, according to current standards, best practices and cross-browser compatibilities.

 Bring basic understanding of web and mobile analytics.

 Align creative solutions with budgets, deadlines and other limitations.

 Collaborate with team members in terms of knowledge sharing, mentoring and training.

 Manage projects and creative process from briefing to final approval.

 Present concepts internally as well as to clients.

 Work within briefing, brand guidelines and other client requirements.

 Show understanding of project relevant industries, markets and target audiences.

 Effectively visualize concepts through recommendations on relevant photography, typography, iconography, UI and graphic elements.
