Information Architect

We are looking for an Information Architect to work full-time, on-site for our client located in Minneapolis. This is a 10 month contract opportunity with strong possibility of extension.

Responsibilities/Deliverables:
• Work directly with Business Analysts and UX Strategists to craft experiences via prototypes, flows, architecture, and specifications with Axure or similar tools (Omnigraffle, Visio, etc.)
• Map business and systems requirements to functional features and definitions, provide recommendations based on usability results and other research results
• Delivering according to project timelines within production schedules
• Influence and cooperate with other departments to ensure consistency and quality across the platform
• Ability to incorporate cutting-edge UX approaches and knowledge of mobile-first and responsive methodologies
• Provide guidance in new development estimates and business release Planning
• Function as internal consultant in usability and information architecture
• Work with internal and 3rd party usability service providers to collect and translate research findings into design improvements
• Ability to present and communicate user experience concepts effectively, build consensus, and justify decisions to a variety of audiences
• Create interface specifications as inputs to visual designers and developers


Skills Overview:
• Creation of a variety of UX Deliverables, including wireframe prototypes, user and task flows, architecture, sorting exercises and others as required
• Ability to consume business and functional requirements as inputs to UX activities and deliver experiences based on those inputs
• Conduct UX quality assurance with other team members
• Ability to self-manage and be proactive in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to craft experiences for a wide variety of devices and audiences
• Must have QA Testing Experience
