Our client, an ad agency in Boston, is looking for a Senior Information Architect! This is for a 2 month contract and they are open to 50% onsite/50% offsite. The hours won't quite be 40 hrs/week, but there will be more hours in the beginning of the project for ramp up, and less as the project comes to a close. Starts week of November 5th!

FULL DESCRIPTION:
We're building a new section/experience our client's site that we are temporarily are calling "the Learning Center". At its essence is a place for Prospects to learn about products (in a way that stimulates purchase) and for customers to get help/support as well as to discover features/tools that are available to them on the device through a brand filter. While it will "live" on the dot com the content itself needs to be pushed through the entire digital (and offline!) ecosystem. Our role is to create the experience (content, tools, interactions) and discern how it lives through all relevant channels in the most relevant, efficient, effective (lots of tracking stuff) way.
Participation in brainstorm workshop that…
defines the user experience
Sketches key red routes for both prospects and customers
Concepting / Own the ideation of and creation of multiple UX concepts (in partnership with our team) including the site experience and 4-6 red routes for prospects and customers
Oversee related WF Development
Content matrix
Prepare concepts for testing
Testing / purpose - to identify a lead concept
Prepare methodology, moderation guide/survey
Recruiting (depends on methodology –we could use VM database for customers again and usertesting.com database for Prospects)
Analyze results, present findings and recommendations on how best to proceed
UX Development / Refine the lead experience and build out related wireframes to support the experience and red routes identified
Oversee related WF Development (we have an internal junior resource to assist)
Content matrix
Prepare concepts for testing
Testing / purpose - to validate refined concept and test the wireframe experience
Prepare methodology, moderation guide/survey
Recruiting (same approach as above)
Analyze results, present findings and recommendations on how best to proceed
Project Timing / First 2 milestones
Kick-off w/o Nov 5 (briefing and brainstorming)
Client presentation – end of November
