Industry Marketing Lead

In this role you can play a key part leading this movement on the Global Consumer Insights team.

We are looking for an experienced professional to support a programmatic activation role within our team. As an Industry Marketing Lead, you will help organize participation in industry and client-specific conferences, events and meetings. You will help us generate awareness of our insights practice to an external audience by working with our internal teams—Communications, Industry Relations, Partner Center, and Speaker Program team. You will be responsible for organizing speaker bench placement and content incorporation into press, client events and conferences. This role will require the ability to work seamlessly with teams; activate marketing and related deliverables; develop a robust approach to content and work with internal stakeholders to activate consumer insights and ads research narratives.

If you are an energetic, ambitious and intellectually-curious person with a background in one or more of the following; marketing, communications, agency, or industry relations then you may be just what we are looking for. This is a full time position, and may require some travel. Based in Menlo Park, CA or in NYC and reports into the Global Consumer Insights Program Manager.

Responsibilities:
Build external speaking opportunities via stakeholders
Help execute against our industry relations strategy
Coordinate the event speaker and content plan and pitches with Industry Relations, Speaker Program Agency and Events team
Lead a complex range of projects and interdependencies and effectively run meetings across a broad team of stakeholders
Interface with Communications on a frequent, regular basis to build out the plan
Work with our Partner Center to ensure integration of our new content and top narratives.
Work with PR agency and Communications to drive coverage of content


Skills:
Requirements
5+ years marketing and/or communications, agency
Strong organizational, process and project management skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with all levels of stakeholders, and cross-functionally
Experience pitching ideas and stories
Comfort with a fast-paced, always on, entrepreneurial environment

Education:
BA/BS degree
