Industry Manager - Publishing

My Client is one of he biggest tech companies in the world. They provide online advertising services, and are looking for someone to manage their publishing client accounts. The team comprises of multi-faceted individuals who bring a combination of business and technical skills to help build a thriving Partner ecosystem.

As Strategy & Operations Lead, for the EMEA region, you will work directly with leaders of the organisation to define and execute on initiatives to measure and enhance the performance of the team. You will spearhead a mix of strategic and operational projects spanning from Customer Segmentation, developing Product insights and feedback at scale, to operational improvement efforts such as automation, and process enhancements. You will mentor junior members of the team and ensure high quality deliverables and analyses. This is a great opportunity to experience and impact one of the largest Advertising Technical Operations teams in the Industry.

Responsibilities
- Act as the “COO” of Publishers EMEA and be a trusted adviser to the leadership team
- Identify, structure, and lead large scale strategy and operations projects
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership by preparing polished presentations
- Mentor junior members of the team, define work streams, ensure timely delivery of analyses and insights
- Build relationships with senior members of the global team and own parts of larger global initiatives both on an ongoing basis and on an ad-hoc basis

Minimum qualifications
- BA or BS Degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Mid to Senior level experience in a management consulting, corporate strategy role, investment bank or internet/media industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery.

Preferred qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
- Familiarity with online advertising tactics and strategy.
- An understanding of or strong interest in learning about the online advertising ecosystem (products, companies, business model, key industry drivers).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent.
