Industrial Designers/3D Visualization

The Industrial Designer's primary focus is to 'visualize' solutions to client needs; and leverage our creative expertise through the use of presentation materials; research; material samples; logic and strategy that act to bring solutions for products we ultimately manufacture. The designers key responsibilities are: inception creation and execution of sales derived client objectives; based upon internal and external business function input.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Visual communication deliverables (conceptual development).
• Departmental critique and review (consultation w/ managers).
• Project management and team communication.
• Research (internal and client based).
• Approvals (engineering consultation; color/printing approvals; drafting consultation; purchasing consultation).
• Administrative (archiving; email; timesheet reporting).
• Department housekeeping.
• IT/Hardware, and software research.
• Training recommendations.
• Order supplies and perform maintenance on copier.
• All other duties as required.

Requirements:
• Sketching ability.
• Basic understanding of materials and processes related to plastics, wood, metal, and composite construction.
• Understanding of proportion; scale and dimension as it applies to product solutions and related packaging.
• Minimun 3 years experience
• Software familiarity with Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator and limited understanding of 3d software; such as studioMax and form-Z
• Creative Suite - AffterEffects, Premiere
