Pay: Up to $70/hr. DOE

Imagine working ON SITE at one of the greatest, most innovative, world-changing companies ever created! Singlehandedly credited with creating some of the most impactful products of this generation, this leader in consumer electronics is looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join their Retail Design team for an approximate 6-month contract position at their Santa Clara Valley location.

The right individual will be a key player in designing accessory products, future features and user experiences for our client's retail stores.

- An outstanding body of work demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative design solutions
- Extensive product design and manufacturing experience specifically in the soft goods and apparel space
- Leadership and hands-on experience with exhibition and installation design
- Strong comfort level and flexibility for client's iterative design process
- A deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems
- A passion for and exceptional eye for detail
- Outstanding project management skills
- An ability to work within tight time frames

The product designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, presenting, and producing creative ideas for client's retail stores.
The primary focus will be on accessory products and fixture designs to be used in client's retail environments.
They take great pride in providing their customers with a unique experience so in this role, it's critical to ensure products are presented in a simple and compelling way that supports their core vision.

Responsibilities include the creation of design explorations on both a macro and micro level, with key insights on manufacturability with little supervision; developing strong partnerships across the retail organization and collaboration with key constituents to ideate, plan, and execute flawlessly, on time, and on budget.
The Product Designer will work with a broad range of retail staff and collaborate across many functions, including production, creative, design, strategy, merchandising and producers.
