In store Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

Effectively plans and executes signage and point-of-sale requests
and programs in collaboration with Merchandising, Sales,
Corporate Purchases, Creative Services, and outside agencies.
Manages projects and initiatives from conception through
execution with focus on strategic thinking and detailed project
management. Must have strategic understanding of BU initiatives
and internal standards and processes. Heavy focus on creative
and production processes, development of print production
specifications, project estimating, and budget management.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation on creative and production processes within
the corporate office and with outside agencies.
• Assist business partners in articulating signing objectives and
deliverables through development of creative briefs.
• Assist Director, In-Store Marketing with the development of
seasonal and transition annual production calendars and schedules
• Assist Director, In-Store Marketing in building and maintaining a
library of commonly used signing elements including sizes,
substrates, and associated price matrixes as well as unique fixture
requirements
• Maintain a working knowledge of and stay current with emerging
trends and new products and services associates with signing and
point-of-sale executions to bring new ideas to the team
• Implement post-game analysis on signing production projects
• Create and maintain project schedules on a project-by-project
basis
• Oversee and manage product sample coordination by sample
coordinator with Merchandising to ensure organization and timely
• Develop print production specifications for project estimating and
budget development
• Manage creative processes from concept through mechanical
release including routing of mechanicals and obtaining all
necessary approvals on signed projects
• Execute special projects as necessary

Job Requirements:
• Account Management background
• Strong project management and print production skills with the
ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented with aptitude for managing complex business
situations
• Coordination of multiple projects simultaneously
• Articulate in both oral and written communications
• Analytical skills with a focus on project budget management
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Preferred Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in MS Project and PowerPoint
• Experience in retail, marketing, or advertising
Years Experience 5 - 10 Years Experience
Preferred Minimum Education Bachelors Level Degree
