In-House Creative Services - Project Coordinator

Aquent is currently seeking a Creative Services Project Coordinator for a global Fortune 500 company (top 30) that leads its industry in technology, innovation and customer experience. Candidates will be tasked with project coordinating extremely high visibility campaigns and promotional support across print, graphics, digital, writing and editing, display, photo and video platforms. The Project Coordinators MUST have direct client facing experience, within a creative / marketing agency environment, or large in-house creative services organization.

Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6- 12 months w/ potential for extension
Hrs: 40 hours per week

Prepares statements of work and estimates using input from the internal team and external suppliers and provides a budget estimate to the clients for approval. As the project progresses, the project manager will monitor costs at each stage to ensure that the final cost falls within the agreed budget.

Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules, identifying dependencies and critical paths, and resolving scheduling conflicts.

Proactively communicate project progress, status, issues, and resolutions to key stakeholders and management via verbal and written status reports.

Able to facilitate meetings with large groups and drive the project team to accomplish meeting goals; Facilitate group through complex issues to decisions.

Highly skilled in time management to allow involvement in a variety of projects and initiatives concurrently across multiple functional groups.

Ability to gather requirements from Business Partners and translate them into actionable plans.

Assemble teams of matrixed resources, including 3rd party vendors, and coordinate their work to meet project schedules.

Identify and champion opportunities to build and leverage project management best practices across the team and implement new and improved processes.

Conduct project retrospective and share lessons learnt periodically.

Assess and manage risk over the project lifecycle.

Track project milestones and deliverables.

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum 5 years project managing in a media/ creative services agency capacity

Effective time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, human relations, budget management, scheduling, and organizational skills.

Self-directed and the ability to work independently and manage communications up and down.

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project) and Project Management oriented software

Experience shepherding projects through approval process between multiple departments

Excellent presentation skills

Excellent written and verbal communication
