Implementation Project Manager

Vitamin T is currently recruiting for a PMP certified Implementation Project Manager to work with a financial services company in the metro Detroit area. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.

Under the direction of the Director of Project Management, the Implementation Project Manager will manage and direct new client implementation activities including project planning, scheduling, coordinating resource requirements, and evaluating project progress. Acts as a liaison between IT, Sales, Account Management (Customer Service), and Operations Departments. Interface with external customers as required.

Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage, multiple large scale project plans, meet hard timelines, communicate effectively with cross-departmental project teams, develop policy and procedures, and develop solutions to complex business and technical challenges.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Professional), MS Project (required).

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required. Master’s degree in Business preferred.
Minimum 5 years demonstrated competency in management of multiple or large projects.
Minimum 5 years experience in direct Client and Account Management.
PMI or equivalent industry recognized certification-preferred education.
