Image Asset Coordinator

The Image Coordinator is responsible for gathering, assembling and analyzing product data to create requests for product images under the direction of the Photography Lead. This person will be working independently on tasked projects and performing a wide variety of research and asset management in the creation of our images.

Major responsibilities and duties:
• Utilize Excel to assemble data from multiple sources, categorize and clean up into logical groupings.

• Create Image Data and Photography File Tracking Requests

• Create requests for product images based on attribute data that maximize product image to SKU count ratio.

• Identify product replacement options when product is not available

• Map data files to the website

• Utilize the Digital Asset Management system to ensure images are properly tagged for easy identification and reuse

• Troubleshoot problems with data, product availability and publishing to the website and escalate when necessary.

• Attend team meetings to discuss art related issues, work progress, etc.

• Submit regular feedback on project status.

• Ensure to meet high artwork standards.

• Understand project requirements and develop cost effective retouching means using available technology and resources.

• Understand all aspects of company’s publishing processes and systems.

• Inspire and support team members, accept personal responsibility for the project deliverables.

• Monitor deliverable progress, manage scope changes and changes requests, meet commitments, follow up, and be on time.

• Work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple (often conflicting) priorities simultaneously.

• BA/BS or equivalent preferred

• Minimum of 5 years experience preferred

• Highly organized, energetic self-starter with a strong attention to detail

• Advanced experience in Excel required, Macro and VB knowledge a plus

• SQL and Python scripting knowledge a plus

• Digital Asset Management/Image Library experience a plus.

• Excellent working relationships with people in a wide variety of functional areas.

• Demonstrated Collaboration skills.

• Excellent listener.

• Occasional travel to the photo studio in Minooka, IL (1 day/month).
