IT Training Coordinator

Under the direction of the IT Training Manager, the Training Coordinator organizes and administers activities associated with corporate university classes, learning engagements and events.

• Provides project assistance and administrative support for training program
• Organizes, schedules, administers learning events (in-classroom, online, self-paced, hands on labs etc.)
• Coordinates equipment, facilities, instructional materials as needed
• Works with multiple vendors and contractors to successfully execute learning events
• Assists with collection and coordination of digital assets for computer-based training (CBT) courses
• Maintain and update course description and information in multiple systems
• Assist employees with course/class registration
• Record attendance data into learning management system
• Markets/communicates training opportunities to employees regularly
• Enforces training policies and requirements
• Work with training manager to ensure training goals and metrics are in line with objectives
• Data collection and analysis to support training reporting metrics and scorecard
• Document, track and report associated training costs
• Produce and distribute certificates for attendees

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with peers and leadership
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• World-class customer service skills
• Proven ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
• Quick learner and team player
• High-School Diploma and some college, degree preferred

Nice to have

• Interest/Passion for training, adult learning theory, employee development
• Previous experience in training function
• Familiarity with training concepts, practices and procedures
• Previous experience with learning management system (LMS) or similar event registration system
• Project management experience
• Tech-savvy
