IT Recruiter / Sourcer

Do you know how to identify and recruit the top technical talent in the world? Do you want to hire talent for one of the most successful business in the world? If so, you could be the person our client is looking for! This Technical Sourcing position will interface and provide recruiting support and consultation to hiring groups in driving recruiting sourcing strategy. The position is currently a 10 month assignment, onsite with the possibility of extending.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will drive specialized sourcing programs to address unique needs for direct, passive and creative sourcing slate development.
In addition, you will:
• Research, engage in cold calling, network, name generate
• Conduct internet research, and candidate development
• Be accountable for enhancing the recruitment team’s ability to rapidly target, identify, source, and present the most talented candidates for current and future searches
• Partner with the recruitment team to develop search strategies, create position profiles and build target lists
• Conduct research, identify and contact prospective sources and potential candidates, and document the outcome of sourcing and research activities
• Participate and contribute in needs analysis meetings with recruiters and hiring managers, where appropriate, to ensure precision of position profiles and target lists
• Identify, review and utilize appropriate targeted sourcing and research tools
• Source directly into target list companies and industries to identify, qualify and develop candidates
• Generate research reports containing thoroughly researched and filtered lists of candidates who meet or exceed the requirements of position profiles for each search
• Document the outcome of research activities in order to accurately populate and maintain HRIS systems
• Develop passive candidates through name generation, networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research
• Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals
• Screen candidates and resumes / applications for availability, interest level, salary range, basic qualifications and conducts technical screenings as requested
• Act as a search expert for a functional area(s) by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements
• Proactively develops, grows and maintains a network of external prospects that may become, or may lead to, potential candidates for future searches
• Proactively researches and evaluates new sourcing and research ideas and methods to create innovative sourcing strategies

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 6 years of experience developing and executing candidate generation strategies with high quality candidates

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
• Experience with grooming and developing research talent
• Recruiting experience with technical positions and demonstrable success in souring
• Strong working knowledge of recruiting applications and technologies that support sourcing functions
• Extensive knowledge of cold calling, networking and Internet research techniques
• Versed in Boolean logic, name generation, applicant tracking systems, etc.
• Familiarity with databases and search engines
• Deep understanding of strategic sourcing theory and practice
• Experience working with engineering groups and well versed in software technologies
• Skillful at gathering hard to obtain information and assimilating organizational charts
• Excellent time management skills
• High sense of accountability and urgency
• Proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities are essential to this position
• High degree of familiarity with computer applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
