IT Project Manager in Milwaukee, WI

Our client company, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is looking for an IT Project Manager to add to their team. This is an on-going assignment with no set end date. You would be a W2, hourly employee of Aquent during this time. We do have health and dental benefits from which you may choose.

Our client is a Fortune 500 insurance company, specializing in life insurance and financial services. They are looking for a Project Manager to deliver project management leadership for their Agency, Planning, Sales & Marketing areas. One major initiative is specifically for their sales agents in the field, which is expected to go through 2015. You will take on a key coordination role and will work with multiple business areas. You will have responsibility for managing scope, schedule, cost, quality and execution of this project.

Here are some other responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Develop full-scale project plans.
• Manage project budget.
• Manage project resource allocations.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to project team.
• Identify and escalate risks and develop risk mitigation options.
• Manage the estimating process for resources (money, staffing, technology).

Here is what you need to have:
• Excellent communication skills (feels comfortable documentation and leading situations of varying complexities).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and collaborate within the project and across inter-related initiatives.
• Ability to relate well with all levels of the organization and to be able to lead complex discussions.
• High level of decision making and problem solving capabilities.
• Ability to deal with very high levels of ambiguity.
