IT Program/Communication Specialist

The IT Reporting and Communication Specialist supports the Governance, Reporting and Communications Director with hands on reporting, data analysis and governance functions to monitor and report on an IT infrastructure agreement.

Essential Functions:
• Create and publish weekly/monthly/quarterly executive reports to measure whether the data center services provider is performing satisfactorily and to identify opportunities for service improvement and/or cost reduction; publish meeting minutes; create ad hoc service review reports for executives (e.g., the CIO)
• Accomplish the above by soliciting, aggregating and editing inputs from individual contributors, managers and executives
• Administer the quarterly scorecard process: solicit, analyze and synthesize quantitative surveys from leaders and check for internal consistency and summarize the patterns
• Maintain online report repository

Required Experience:
• 3-5 years IT Communications experience.
• Must have a fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure & operations
• Strong communication skills in communicating with Senior Leaders; must have a background in Communications, Sales, or Marketing (from a communications standpoint). !!!***all of these MUST be IT related***!!!
• Expert Microsoft Powerpoint / presentation skills (at least 3 years experience)
• Past positions must demonstrate the use of critical thinking skill and the application of data analysis

Preferred Experience:
• IT experience is one or more of the following: infrastructure service design, engineering or delivery; application development, maintenance and support; business intelligence and analytics; IT communications
• Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel/Spreadsheet skills
• Strong critical thinking/analysis

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent Job Experience

Skills to be successful in this role:
• Strong writing, visualization (e.g., Power Point), data manipulation (e.g., Excel) and web reporting (e.g., html) skills with uncompromising penchant for accuracy and precision
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team and cross-functionally with groups outside the immediate team
• Organizational proficiencies to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
