Aquent is seeking an IT Program Coordinator / Project Manager to be part of a larger team for a Fortune 500 company.

This will be a 1+ year contract with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

Description:

Provides management and leadership to work teams for the successful delivery of strategic business projects or product introductions by gathering necessary resources, establishing priorities and delivering outcomes that are focused on business growth, products, and/or improving customer satisfaction or channel partner development.

Duties:

Leads work teams to gather necessary resources and establish priorities in support of strategic business initiatives or product introductions.

Identifies the project deliverable, directs the design of the project plan, and leads the execution of the plan.

Ensures projects are developed with realistic outcomes, business objectives and customer satisfaction targets.

Determines and secures resources to assure successful completion of a project.

Monitors ongoing project/program status and maintains communications with business unit leadership and affected stakeholders.

Requirements:
• IT Program Coordinator / Project Manager
• Coordinating and administering the daily operational activities of a large system implementation program management office.

Duties may include:
• Assisting leadership with the development, dissemination, and governance of the methodologies, processes, policies,
standards, and templates of the program office
• Providing instruction to team members in the application of the program office processes and tools to ensure alignment and
quality; responding to a wide variety of "how to" questions from team members
• Managing and maintaining the program SharePoint website to meet the evolving needs of the program; perform daily SharePoint
security administration
• Collecting and assembling program estimates into annual budgets, administering the program portfolio planning tools
• Assisting with maintenance of the overall program plan / schedule
• Assisting project managers in the timely setup, maintenance, and auditing of time reporting to ensure quality capture of
program costs; proactively working to resolve monthly reporting gaps
• Collaborating with Acct in the collection and reporting of monthly and annual program costs; monitoring actual expenditures
against budgets; preparing summary presentation materials
• Collaborating with Acct on the identification and capitalization of internally developed software
• Consolidating project status reports
• Formulating and capturing meaningful program metrics
• Monitoring the program issues logs to drive issue resolution; escalate unresolved items to leadership
• Monitoring the program risk mitigation plans to manage risks; escalate increasing risks to leadership
• Assisting with the coordination and scheduling of program governance items into the weekly leadership governance meetings
• Creating program communication materials as requested
• Monitoring SOX audit points and ensuring project closing processes are completed
• Providing project management, as requested, of small projects
