IT Procurement Manager

Our client is a well known and established automotive captive finance organization based in Torrance CA. They are looking to onboard a Procurement Manager as a part of the Corporate Administration & Facilities. The talent will provide direct procurement support for our client and have experience in IT services, Hardware and Software and general MRO goods and services procurement.

The position requirements include the following:

• RFP/RFI development, review, analysis summarization of all agreements for goods, commodities and services required in support of the business,

• Lead varied related procurement efforts through coordination and consultation with Managers, Stakeholders and Project Managers on proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, Statement of Works (SOW), Master Service Agreements (MSA's), Software License agreements and Consultant Services Agreements (CSA's).

• Management of all job specific related procurements to include outlining of project requirements within agreements; Development of negotiating strategies and scheduling for successful administration of contract agreements.

• Contract document review to include familiarity with contract terms and conditions and negotiation of contract agreements to include pricing and scope of work. .

• Coordination and planning of required meetings / discussions with business units to develop agreements for specific business requirements; Review adequacy of requirements;

• Supplier on-boarding

• Advise Users / Management on all aspects of procurement policies and procedures;

• Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences; including proven management presentation skills and experience

Work Experience / Education Qualifications
Individual must possess a four year degree or equivalent work experience. Prefer 7 to 10+ years of progressively challenging procurement industry experience in an MRO/Service environment. A C.P.M. or CPSM certification is desired. Knowledge and experience with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations is a plus.

Technical knowledge and skills required
Individual must possess basic computer skills with added proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); Additional knowledge and experience with procurement ERP systems (ARIBA, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.)
